Available
means that AdoptLink is accepting profiles of interested adoptive parent/s.
Match
Pending means that the birthparent/s and adoptive
parent/s are considering each other to work toward an adoption plan, but
neither party has committed yet. Additional profiles are not presented
to birthparent/s during a pending match. If a match does not occur, the
status will be changed to Available.
Matched
means
that the birthparent/s and adoptive parent/s have committed to working
together in order to fulfill an adoption. If a match is disrupted, the
status will be changed to Available.
Decided
to parent is self-explanatory.
Case
Closed means that the expectant mother is no longer
communicating with the agency or attorney by phone, mail, etc., and the
agency or attorney have concluded that the expectant mother is no longer
interested in adoption, or has made adoption plans elsewhere.
